What's New for the 2018 Chevy Express?

The Chevrolet Express 2018 is the 23rd model since it first went on sale in 1996. The most notable change is the new identification tags. We now have a power convenience package, which has been renamed the ZQ2 Convenience Package. The ZQ3 Convenience package has changed to Driver Convenience package. The seating configuration has been changed from 8 and 10 passengers to 12 and 15 passenger seat configuration. There are four new packages, the cargo package, safety package, communications package and enhanced convenience package. Chevrolet has introduced a 6.0L V8 LC8 engine capable of operating on both gasoline and LPG. Chevrolet chose to do away with the 4.8L V8 engine, which they replaced with a 4.3L V6 as the base engine. As an option, you can now remove the rear-view mirror. Hill start assist is now standard on 2018 Chevrolet express.

The designers at Ford took their time when designing the exterior of the new 2018 Chevrolet express. The carbon fiber bumper is well arched. It merges with the halogen lamps to give the Express a seamless design. The color coat is now available in two options. On the inside, what you will notice and definitely like is the optional 7-inch infotainment head display unit. You have USB connectivity, power outlets, and a very intuitive navigation system. Ahead of this all, the express has 4G Wi-Fi connectivity for a maximum of 7 devices. You can now start, stop and run diagnostics on your MyChevrolet Mobile App.

In 2018, the Chevrolet express comes with an option of 3 power plants. You can choose the base gasoline engine, which is a 4.3L V6. This one is good for 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque. Making it an appealing option for passenger vans. A 6.0L V8, making 342 horsepower and 373 lb-ft of torque, is available as an option. A Duramax 2.8L turbo-diesel 4-cylinder engine is diminutive, but it makes 181 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The transmission comes in two varieties, a six-speed automatic, and an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

2018 Chevy Express RearA standard rear-view mirror comes integrated with a rear-view camera. The express 2018 is now equipped with blind zone alert. This feature alerts you whenever you are about to crash into an object on your blind zones. It ensures that your vehicle is stable during low traction maneuvers. The 2018 express also comes to you with rear park assist. This feature produces a beep when the express is headed for a collision with an object on its rear end. Chevrolet has also incorporated OnStar. This feature provides third-party assistance in the event of a collision, vehicle theft, and other emergencies.
