What's New for the 2019 Chevy Blazer?

With an attractive new exterior, refreshed interior, leading safety features, and durability, the Chevy Blazer is back, now bolder and better than ever. After its absence from the market for many years, Chevy decided to reintroduce its mid-size SUV with a better shot at wowing customers than ever before. This year, it's safe to say that the Blazer does just that. On the outside, the Blazer sports a bold new look with narrowed, elongated LED headlights and a large front grille. A wide hood with intriguing slopes and uniquely shaped fog lights make it stand out on the road and turn heads wherever you're parked.

The Blazer base model has 18-inch wheels, but as you move up the line you can progress to standout 21-inch wheels. In 2019, the Blazer is offered in a rainbow of colors, and its interior runs the gamut from cloth to premium leather seats. With a choice of drivetrain and engines, the latest Blazer is just about as stylish, versatile, and well-equipped as a modern midsize SUV can get. Furthermore, the Blazer has a maximum towing capacity of 4,500 LBS, and its strong mechanical system is yearning for off-road adventure.

2019 Blazer Trims & Technology Features

Three equally appealing trim levels are available in the Blazer this year. The entry-level trim is called the Blazer. A noise-dampening system in the cabin makes it easy to hold a conversation with passengers, even on the busiest roads. An HD backup camera shows your rear path of travel with clarity, while the 4.2-inch driver information screen keeps you updated on your car's performance and health. A nice quality of the base model is that if it's not equipped with the same standard amenities that you'll get with the higher trim levels, those same features are still available.

The seats, for example, come standard in cloth. However, you have the choice of getting premium leather seats instead. While front-wheel drive comes standard, you can upgrade to all-wheel drive instead. Upgrading to the RS, you'll get a vehicle that stands out from the crowd with black accents throughout the exterior, including a signature black grille. Inside, the blacked-out trend continues with red-accented leather seats.

The RS has a more advanced infotainment system too, which comes with navigation along with its other amenities to help you get to your destinations with confidence. A six-speaker audio system is standard, but an eight-speaker Bose sound system is available. The top-level Premier comes with stylish roof rails, chrome accents around the interior, and a horizontal grille with chrome trim. The Premier comes standard with more safety features and an eight-speaker Bose sound system. Your drives will be smooth and comfortable with the Premier's premium perforated leather seats.

The six-cylinder engine can create up to 305 HP. The engine also produces up to 269 LB-FT of torque. Both engines are coupled with a nine-speed transmission.

Chevy Blazer Safety
