What's New on The 2019 Chevy Traverse?

Changes to the exterior of the 2019 Chevy Traverse include a Premier badge on the lift gate of that trim and replacing the Bright Silver machined-face aluminum wheels with versions in painted aluminum. A new automatically heated steering wheel makes interiors cozier in the winter.

The 2019 Chevrolet Traverse is available in the following trims:

        
  • L: Rear Vision Camera delivers live video of the view behind you when you go into reverse. Up front, High-Intensity Discharge headlamps illuminate your night trims while LED Daytime Running Lamps keep you visible when the sun is still shining. Power heated outside mirrors minimize ice and snow during cold weather.

  • LS: You, your front passenger, and passengers seated in the back get individual temperature setting through Tri-Zone Automatic Climate Control. Delivering information and entertainment is the Chevrolet Infotainment System with a 7-inch diagonal color touchscreen. Voice-activated technology control both the radio and a compatible phone.

  • LT Cloth: Adjust the driver seat with 8-way power settings including lumbar support. The power windows feature express up and down for the driver and express down for the front passenger. With fog lamps, you'll illuminate misty weather. Leather wraps the steering wheel. Turn signal indicators are integrated into the heated outside power mirrors.

  • LT Leather: The Chevrolet Infotainment System gets an 8-inch diagonal color touchscreen. You can program the height of the rear power liftgate to compensate for low parking ceilings.   • RS: Heating is built into both front seats so the coldest days get warmer. Distinguishing this trim are signature black accents on the roof rails, bowties, and front grille. The 20-inch wheels are finished in Dark-Android painted aluminum. You can plug in your favorite devices using the 120-volt power outlet.

  • Premier: The luxurious perforated leather-appointed seats come with ventilation for the driver and front passenger with heating for the steering wheel. The second-row captain's chairs also get heating. You can dispense with wires and ports by powering up your compatible device using the wireless charging station. Saving energy and adding brightness to the night are LED headlamps.

  • High County: This All-Wheel Drive trim uses and automatic locking rear differential with a twin clutch. IntelliBeam automatic high-beam assist switches between high beams and low automatically when other vehicles approach. Bring in more light and air by opening up the SkyScape power tilt-sliding sunroof, which features a fixed skylight and sunscreen in the rear.

What's Under The Hood?

2019 Chevy TraverseThis SUV starts with a 3.6-liter V6 that depends on Variable Valve Timing and Spark Ignition Direct injection to generate 310 horsepower at 6,800 RPM and 266 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,800 RPM. The same technologies are used on the 2.0-liter Turbo 4-cylinder that generates up to 255 horsepower at 5,500 RPM and 295 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,000 RPM. To save energy, the Start-Stop feature turns off these engines when the SUV is at a stop and restarts it as soon as you take your foot off the brake pedal. A 9-speed automatic transmission provides seamless changes of gears.
