Specs at a Glance
2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT vs 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country
The most recent Chevrolet Silverado is one of the most technologically sophisticated trucks in its history. It offers a maximum towing capacity of 13,300 pounds, a payload capacity of 2,260 pounds, and provides drivers with 495 lb-ft of torque. Yet, not all Silverado 1500 trims are the same. The LT trim will differ significantly from the High Country trim in both styling and interior luxury.
Performance
LT and High Country trims feature different engine and transmission setups. The High Country is standard with a 10-speed automatic transmission that includes electronic precision shift, while the LT is equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission. LT trims have a standard TurboMax engine rated at 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. The High Country, meanwhile, comes standard with a 5.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine producing 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Only the High Country offers the option of the Silverado 1500's 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine (420 horsepower/460 lb-ft of torque).
Appearance
Although the Silverado 1500 LT is a strong value at the third trim level, it doesn't have the same exterior presence as the High Country. High Country trims are fitted with 18" Gloss Black AEV wheels, LED headlamps, a body-color rear bumper, and chrome door handles as standard. You'll find a chrome front bumper on the LT, an EZ Lift assist power lock-and-release tailgate, and heated power outside mirrors. Both trims feature LED lighting for the bed.
Features
It's difficult to find a truck as feature-rich as the Silverado 1500. Designed to stand out both inside and out, it offers very different interior amenities between the LT and High Country. High Country trims come with a Bose premium sound system, rear carpeted floor mats, a front center console, and perforated leather seating. The LT features a 6-speaker audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cloth seats. Whether you choose a configuration focused on comfort and value or opt for the fully loaded High Country, the Silverado 1500 has you covered. Our sales associates are ready to showcase the features of both trims, helping you pick the one that meets your needs.
