Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Race Car Set to Debut New Look

The production Camaro may be gone for now, but the 2026 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 race car is keeping the spirit alive. It hits the NASCAR Cup Series this season with a refreshed design and performance upgrades.

Taking cues from the Carbon Performance Package, the racer features a specialized hood insert and front splitter. The carbon-fiber rockers and expanded hood power dome give it a bold look while enhancing stability and cooling on the track.

With a record of 881 wins and over 40 Manufacturer Championships, Chevrolet is a dominant force. This latest ZL1 is designed to continue that tradition in the 2026 racing season.

Will the Production Version of the Camaro Return?

Many are hoping for a return of the Camaro. Chevrolet has not revealed a successor, but the car's continued relevance in NASCAR offers hope for the future.
