Available Trim Levels & Key Amenities

There is a Silverado to fit nearly every style and equipment preference. The Silverado is offered in eight trim levels with sub-tier packages available in nearly all of them.

Even the base model comes surprisingly well equipped with color 7-inch touchscreen display and blackout trim. The Custom trim adds 20-inch wheels and available dual exhaust for the street, or the Custom Trail Boss with 18-inch wheels, Goodyear Duratrac off-road tires, and the Z71 off-road suspension. Both the Custom and the Custom Trail Boss also feature unique LED tail lamps. The LT trim is the high running trim level, featuring a more upscale appointment and appearance package including chrome accents, LED headlights, and 8-inch touchscreen with available leather seats. The RST is aimed at the sport truck enthusiast offering the best features the Silverado has to offer with the addition of body color trim, custom LED lighting features, and 22-inch wheels. The LT Trail Boss balances luxury with capability, adding the Z71 Suspension package and Goodyear off road tires.

The flagships of the Silverado line without question are the LTZ and High Country models. The LTZ trim is known for offering the ultimate in luxury, performance, technology, and upscale appearance. Standard to the LTZ are high-end features such as power folding mirrors, heated leather seats, and premium chrome wheels. The High Country trim packs a payload of signature features that signify it as the boss of work trucks. Luxury features combined with dressed-up work-ready options such as chrome running boards and a power tailgate.

Engine and Other Mechanical Specs

2019 Chevy SilveradoThe standard for the 2019 Silverado is a 5.3 liter V8 gas engine. This version of the Chevy V8 cranks out 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. This output matches the 2018 model exactly. However, the optional 6.2 liter gas V8 boasts an impressive 425 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque. The 425 hp rating is a 5 horsepower increase from the 2018 model, while the torque decreased slightly from 460 lb-ft in the previous model.
