2018 Chevy Impala Overview

The five-passenger 2018 Chevy Impala in Kansas City is a full-size sedan that meets the needs of many car buyers in the market for a new vehicle. What's New on the 2018 Chevy Impala?

Changes made to the latest Impala revolve around its features. For 2018, the full-size sedan has gained new standards that can be found on all models, such as keyless entry/start and a rearview camera, which makes the base LS trim more attractive than ever before. Additionally, the LS model has received a number of new technologies, including Bluetooth, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-inch touchscreen and Chevy MyLink infotainment.

On top of these new elements, the 2018 Chevy Impala in Kansas City, Missouri, can be had with a variety of packages, which come with everything from 20-inch wheels and a heated steering wheel to a sunroof and navigation. Select packages include the Driver Confidence package, LT Convenience package and the Midnight Edition Appearance package.

Two Reliable Engines

The LS and LT trims each come with a 2.5L four-cylinder engine, delivering 197 horsepower and 191 lb.-ft. of torque. A 3.6L six-cylinder, generating 305 horsepower and 264 lb.-ft. of torque, is fitted on the Premier trim, but if LS and LT owners want a bit more power, they can also take advantage of this engine. Regardless of the powerplant you choose, both are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel drive configuration.

Impressive Safety Features

The latest Impala model is available with a great deal of safety functions. Emergency Brake Assist, a Post-Collision Safety System, Blind-Spot Monitoring and Lane Departure Warning are a few of the advanced safety technologies you can add to the model.
