The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is shaping up to be one of the fastest cars in the world. General Motors President Mark Reuss recently drove it at a test track in Germany, where the ZR1 reached an incredible top speed of 233 mph. No production car under $1 million has reached this kind of speed. During several test runs, the new Corvette ZR1 consistently exceeded 230 mph, setting a new record for American sports cars.
